Wings of Hope

Breast cancer survivors are the heart and soul of the Komen Orange County Affiliate. Survivors are currently creating handmade whimsical butterflies for our Pink Tie Ball (June 6 at Noguchi Garden at Pacific Arts Plaza). Each butterfly is unique and contains a personal message of hope. The butterflies will create a colorful display at the Pink Tie Ball  for “Wings of Hope”-one of the fundraising opportunities of the evening. Each guest will be able to select a butterfly to enter in an opportunity drawing for amazing gifts. The ultimate prize for “Wings of Hope” will be a diamond and pearl necklace donated by Winston’s Jewelers valued at $20,000. (Even if you can’t attend the Ball, you can make a donation for one or more of the butterfly keepsakes and be entered to win.) Of course, the real winners of the evening will be the women and families in Orange County who will benefit from the Ball’s proceeds.
