Clarient Executives Get Dunked for the Cure!

Clarient’s Dunk for the Cure event on Aug. 26 raised $1160 thanks to all the hardworking and dedicated associates! The amount is enough for nine women in need to receive mammograms.

The all-star lineup of Clarient executives and managers volunteering for the Dunk Tank included Mike Nall, Mendy Fry, Michael Rodriguez, Jack Jakubowski, Dr. Ken Bloom, Ben Adeyemi, Dave Daly, Dr. Doug Ross, Ronnie Andrews and Brian Hawthorne. Participants could try three times to knock the dunkee into the tank for $1 or eight tries for $5. A “guaranteed dunk” could be bought for $30, ensuring that the dunkee would end up in the tank of water. Pink mini-duckies were awarded to all the dunkees for different categories, which included the most money raised, the most “guaranteed dunks,” biggest splash, best legs, best “wet do” and best sport.

The event was held to benefit the Komen OC Race for the Cure – Team Clarient to help meet its fundraising goal of $19,000. Other events to help Team Clarient reach its goal include the Sept. 9 Soup’s On for the Cure, and the upcoming Sweets for the Cure bake sale on Sept. 17.
