Komen Orange County is proud to welcome their 2012-2013 Board Roster. Board members will use their connections to engage the business community in the organization’s efforts to advance breast health initiatives throughout Orange County.
New to the board this year are five prominent business individuals who have a personal or professional tie to breast cancer. Lynn Jolliffe is the executive VP of human resources at Ingram Micro, Inc in Santa Ana and the new president elect. Gretchen Valentine is managing director at RSM McGladrey in Irvine and the new treasurer. Dennis Kuhl is president of the Angels of Anaheim and a 2008 Pink Tie Guy, an honor given for his commitment to bring breast cancer awareness to the business world. Also among new board members are Lynn Salo, VP of sales and marketing for the plastic surgery division of Allergan Medical and Regino Diaz, senior VP of Bank of America’s Orange South Bay Area Executive Southwest Region.
Returning board member, Sue Parks, will maintain her role as president, while Carrie Bollwinkle will be appointed secretary. Survivor Award recipient for Outstanding Breast Health Advocate Lisa E. Guerra, MD, breast cancer survivor Sol Reyes Roberts and community health advocate Sora Park Tanjasiri, Dr. Ph.D., MPH will also continue to hold positions on the Board.
The Komen Orange County Affiliate and its Board maintain year-round endeavors, including ongoing breast health outreach to the local community and major fundraising events such as the Race for the Cure®, taking place this year on Sunday, September 23.
