In the midst of a blustery, frosty and cold holiday season (typical for Orange County, of course), we at Komen Orange County, have been working tirelessly to create an original holiday jingle to the tune of “Winter Wonderland,” which asks for the public’s help in funding Orange County mammograms.
Biting the cold and trekking through snow-lined pine trees (or more like mild rain and palm trees), we tracked down a number of Orange County faces we think you will recognize (not for their singing talent), to tighten up their scarves and meet us by the holiday tree in order to help us spread these important words along with a little cheer.
The result is a creative and unique year-end appeal we hope will make a difference in our fundraising this holiday season. The video is now complete and we’re proud to share it with you.
We encourage you to get cozy, grab a spot by the fire and turn up the volume. We hope you’ll watch, enjoy, laugh and share with friends and family. Most importantly, please consider donating as little or as much as possible this holiday to help underserved and underinsured women have access to life-saving mammograms.
