On May 30, join Pink Tie Ball event chairs, Scott and Karen Sherman, as they “blast off” toward more effective breast cancer diagnostic and treatment options and improvements to life-saving research for women and men fighting the disease. Themed “A Blast for the Cure,” our largest annual fundraiser will take place at the Orange County Great Park, Palm Court Arts Complex in Irvine. Join us for an inspiring event to encourage breast cancer survivors, supporters and advocates to reach for the outer limits toward the Komen mission: a world free of breast cancer.

Scott Sherman previously was executive vice president of human resources at Allergan, Inc., founding sponsor of the Pink Tie Ball. On May 1, he will join Ingram Micro as executive vice president of human resources.
Karen Sherman is a local philanthropist who is passionate about the Komen mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
Spearheaded by the Sherman’s, the Pink Tie Ball committee and all of us here at Komen want you to have “a blast” at the event with:
