The Pink Tie Ball will be held at the beautiful Noguchi Garden at Pacific Arts Plaza. The event will be a celebration of new hope brought to the fight against breast cancer.  Tickets for the Pink Tie Ball are $350 or $3,500 for a table of 10. Sponsorships are still available.

Seventy-five percent of the money raised at the Ball will benefit women and families in Orange County; the additional 25% will benefit the National Komen Award and Research Grant fund. Our very own Komen advocate Rebecca Hultquist was selected by Major League Baseball as the Angels honorary bat girl and even threw out the ceremonial first pitch!

Komen OC Takes Our Promise to the Capitol!

On April 30, Komen OC joined more than 300 breast cancer advocates from across the country on Capitol Hill to urge lawmakers to support two recently introduced bills: the 21st Century Cancer ALERT Act and the Breast Cancer EARLY Act.   See how you can get involved in our Komen Advocacy Alliance efforts.

Rally for the Cure!

Komen OC is honored to benefit from Rally for the Cure^®. Rally for the Cure is a grassroots program designed to spread awareness about breast health and breast cancer through volunteered organized golf, tennis and social events.

Rally empowers people to support the mission of Susan G. Komen for the Cure by spreading awareness in their community through an activity they are passionate about.  Volunteer Ambassadors host and plan the events locally.  A registration fee of $20 per person enables participants to participate in a contest for a chance to win a grand prize.

Example contest include a closest-to-the-pin challenge for golf events and a round robin tournament for tennis events. In addition, each registered participant receives  event favors, important breast health information from Komen, as well as a one-year subscription to select Condé Nast magazines such as, Golf Digest, SELF, Bon Appétit and Condé Nast Traveler.  Click here to learn more about hosting an event at your club.
